My previous experience with narrative projects very. When I am assigned them most of the time I am told to do it from the point of view of either a fictional character or previously deceased historical figure Abraham Lincoln. There was one project where I did one from the perspective of the Aztecs fending off Spanish conquistadors. It was rather fun to write mainly because I learned a lot about the cultures in the Americas prior to colonization. When it comes to writing one about myself, I found it difficult to write. I am held back from saying positive things about myself because they do not want to sound as though I'm gloating. I know though that it is not considered gloating if you write about yourself in a positive light. I have also done other narrative projects recently on this site such as, a-letter-to-my-author-self,writing-process-roundtable,february-18th-2020, and telling-myself-a-different-story-a-memoir-counterfactual. These have given me a deeper look as to who I am. It has also helped me discover that I can write beautifully what I want to.
